Summary of the top Qualifying runs, Field 1, at ISDS World Sheep
Dog Trials, 2005
Thursday and Friday were the 2 qualifying days for the 2005 World
Sheep Dog Trials. It turned out to be quite cloudy and rainy as dad and I ran around
to the three fields to catch some runs and get some interviews.
Field One was very good for the handlers and their Border Collies to work on,
with no major obstacles in the way of the dog bringing up the sheep to the handler.
(This was also to be the main field for the Semi Finals and the Finals of the World
Sheep Dog Competition). On the Thursday, the sheep were said to be very good to work
with and the over-all opinion of the field was highly thought of.

The results for the Thursday from Trial Field One was:
