Border Collie Videos and Rural Route Videos, the 2 go hand in hand. We
produced our first Border Collie training video 1984, the first commercially
available video available anywhere on Training Border Collies. Since that
time we have become the number one producer of Border Collie videos anywhere
in the world.
This is the story about my trip to the International Sheep Dog Society's
2004 International Finals, in the UK.. From the Heart of Border Collie
Country, Carmarthenshire, West Wales
A fellow Border Collie enthusiast said to me recently, "Wow, it must be great
to go to the International Sheepdog Trials in Britain each year and watch all
those runs, and get to talk to the handlers and all". I couldn't think of much
of a response at the time except, "Well it's not really like that for me when
I am trying to produce a program of the event. It's not a holiday". Alas, he
didn't believe me! Then someone else suggested that I should write up an article
about making the video of the International, and what all goes into it.
So here goes!
